The oldest of the two gymnasiums with original maple floors, it has the capacity to seat over seven hundred spectators via the attached auditorium. This unique space is utilized for a variety of sports and community events.
Featuring a brand new, state-of-the-art sprung wood flooring system. These are the same wood floors that are in our dance studios. Foslin Gym will hosts basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, and community events.
These sports facilities were constructed to provide accessible youth sports to the local community. They currently consist of two outdoor basketball courts, two beach volleyball courts, four turf 5-a-side pitches, a 12,000sf obstacle course, and a regulation size turf flag football field. In the near future, we plan to add a much larger sports complex on the neighboring 13 acre parcel that we own.
This complex was built in the Fall of 2023. It includes four turf 5-a-side soccer pitches, a full size turf flag football field, and two regulation beach volleyball courts. A parking lot with handicap accessible spaces can be accessed by going around the right side of our building (1633 Keeler Ave). Bike racks have been installed at the Carnegie Avenue entrance. The schedule for this facility can be found at the top of this page. Outdoor lighting is present.
Originally built as tennis courts and then used as a parking lot by the school district, we repaved this space into two new, full-size basketball courts along with installing a five-a-side soccer pitch. Like all of our other outdoor facilities, these courts are illuminated at night.
Attached to Sports Complex #1 is a 12,000sf obstacle course that features three separate courses. One down the middle and two around the outside, with two pirate ships in the middle. A third pirate ship with an obstacle course for younger ages is located on the north side. When not in use by Rising Tide for its own programs, it is available for use by the general public at their own risk. Rules are posted by all entrances and outdoor lighting is present.
We recently acquired the neighboring 12.5 acre parcel. Our background in construction, we did both the design and construction for Sports Complex #1 ourselves. We treated it as a trial run.
It gave us the needed experience to next develop the neighboring 12.5 acres into a much larger Sports Complex #2. Like Sports Complex #1, the focus will be on providing free and accessible sports to local youth.
